I dunno what these recent tracks say about me. They clearly show a departure from my more traditional mega-man type jams…

I’ve been longing to make another one of those guys, but I just have a block lately.
I might also need to break the 8-bit trend here soon… who knows. Whatever sounds good at the time is what I usually make…

This is overdue…

Kind-of how I’ve been feeling lately. A lot of disconnected yet heartfelt melodies mixed and matched against silence and static.

Lately I’ve been revisited by insomnia and very nostalgic as I often am during the fall. It’s been really cool driving through leaved on the turnpike, as they swirl around my headlights driving home at often 7 or 8 at night.

I plan to write a few more midis in my spare time for now…

I’m not dead!

If anybody still tries to read(s) my blog, I’m not dead yet! One day I will return and make cool stuff once again.

As for the continuation of my break from being awesome, I’ve started working!  I’m now employed by Teknikos inc.  In King of Prussia.  So far it’s been a pretty good deal, although commuting there ’bout 30 miles driving on the turnpike sucks alot!…. someday I will save enough money to live somewhere closer.

I’m very close to being done all the peripheral tasks and projects I have going on outside of work, and once I kindof ‘break even’, hopefully I will find more time to make stuff again.  Bit-quest is still very dear to my heart, and has not died either.

The Break

I’ve taken a bit of a break from making stuff the past few weeks. I got to actually see a lot of the country ok a road-trip from Philly to LA!

In the meantime, my own projects have taken back seat to about 3 or 4 freelance sites, and trying to land a solid job!.. no worries though, I have no intention to quit Bit-Quest.

If you haven’t checked out the game recently, there are now 3 boss statues you can find. The basic environment layout is also coming along. More soon, I hope!

New Achievements, and Ragnar…

I’ve started development on the first boss for Bitquest! after a couple hours of playing around with AS3 bones and joints, I gave up… but I think I’ve come up with a better system to use for myself.

Added some cool new extras to the game (which I’ve tentatively titled Bitquest… any comments on the name? I’ve gotten mixed reviews. Anyway, you can do alot of stuff if you explore the keyboard a little. Have fun. More bigger updates soon.

I’ve been hard at work on this new game Demo. I plan to expand it into a Metroid-like map, where hidden powers allow you to explore. I also am clearly being influenced by megaman. Should be a fun game! Updates soon!
